Job Description

Project:  Why do trout need high river flows?

Client:  Trout Unlimited

Description:  This web site video explains to the general public why high river flows are necessary for healthy trout populations in rivers. Low flows—caused by irrigation diversions and drought—can drain a river section to the point that it creates a barrier to fish passage. Upgraded infrastructure and innovative water management ensure that enough water remains in-stream to keep trout populations alive and connected.
